Writing your CV can be a difficult, but very important
task. After all, your CV is the main sales tool when
trying to secure yourself an interview. You must highlight
your relevant skills and experience, along with your
suitability for the position you are aiming for.
Also, try to remember these points when writing your
CV.
- Aim to write approx. 2-3 pages. Any longer than
this, there is the danger that it will not be read
fully. Keep it clear, concise and succinct.
- Keep it all in black type, stay away from pictures
and colours.
- Make sure all the start and finish dates are included
where necessary.
- Don't leave any gaps in your CV, that could raise
any questions.
- Use bold text to highlight key technologies and
job titles.
